Pranayama and Mantra for Children Workshop

Explore breath techniques and how to bring mantra to children in and out of school settings.

The 8-Limb Path and Children Workshop
Saturday, June 24th //  4pm – 5:30pm

The yoga path has direct implications in the lives of children. Come learn ways to introduce and discuss one of the oldest yoga teachings with children.

Reading for the Yoga FUN of it Workshop
Sunday, June 25th //  1pm – 2:30pm

Participants will explore bringing books to life using yoga as a vehicle. Be prepared to move!

Everyday Yoga and Mindfulness Workshop
Sunday, June 25th //  3pm – 4:30pm 

Families all over are beginning to bring yoga into their lives. Whether you are a teacher or a parent you will benefit from this workshop. We will look at how to use yoga and mindfulness to improve emotional regulation and increase attention.


unnamed-1Candace is an E-RYT 200 and CKYT, has a BA in Early Childhood Education, has taught in public and private schools for over 20 years, and has completed Mindful Schools programing for certification in mindfulness. Candace brings all her years of educational experience combined with her yoga experience to bring a whole child curriculum of yoga and mindfulness to children and their families. Candace believes that kindness is the way that we all grow to be more accepting of ourselves and of others. Candace is the owner of Southtown Yoga and Elephant Power: Mindfulness and Yoga for Kids.
